Eva Mendes is both an actor as well as a model. Her talent was noticed by an agent and encouraged her to enter the entertainment industry. She dropped out of university after a lot of thought to pursue an entertainment career. In the aftermath of being dissatisfied with her performance, she filmed her film debut in Children of the Corn V Fields of Terror. In order to show she could be a successful actor, she had to work long hours and was featured in a number of budget-friendly films. It wasn't an easy road for this actress however her determination and persistence was rewarded.
