Tara Reid first appeared in commercials for television while an infant. Her breakthrough occurred after Tara Reid made an appearance on Saved by the Bell: The New Class. While her acting ability has come under fire, it is clear that she has played her roles with ease. Her breakthrough came with The Big Lebowski as Bunny. It was a fantastic start to her career, and led to bigger roles in films such as Urban Legend and Cruel Intentions. American Pie, a cult classic about teens and their sexual encounters with each other, was the film that made Reid an Hollywood star. The actress played sexually virgin Vicky in the film. This did not result in a big, successful Hollywood career. Reid suffered several failures, including unsuccessful movies like Josie and the Pussycats. The actress did have an appearance on the set of American Pie 2 for a couple of minutes, however this was not enough to help her slumping career. The offscreen mistakes of Reid, famous and infamous plastic surgery and her many performances that have been a blink and miss, has resulted in her becoming more of a party-goer or designer than an actress.
